Engagement files

Every engagement startswhere your firm left off.

An engagement file starts from one of your firm's templates, with its folders, workpapers, report models and instructions. The Agent works inside it, and what your team improves goes back into the template for the next engagement.

A template is your firm's model engagement file.

What a type of engagement needs before it starts, prepared once by the firm. Every new engagement file works on its own copy.

Folders
The shape of the engagement, the same in every file of the same type.
Workpapers
Your workbooks, which the Agent fills in place, in their own sheets and columns, with every figure tied to its page.
Report models
Your Word documents, which the Agent completes with the figures of the engagement, each one cited.
Instructions
The firm's criteria for that type of engagement, which the Agent follows inside the file.

How an engagement file lives.

From the client's first document to the close, all the work of the engagement stays in one place.

  1. 01

    It starts from a template

Open it from one of the firm's templates or blank. You can also ask the Agent in the chat: it opens the file with the right template, puts the documents in and gets to work.

  2. 02

    Only its members see inside

The whole space knows the file exists, but only its members and the firm's admins see what is inside. Anyone else can request access.

  3. 03

    The Agent works inside

With the file's instructions and without leaving it: it reads the documents, fills in the workpapers and the report, and every figure stays one click from its page.

  4. 04

It closes when the work is done

A closed file is read only for everyone, the Agent included. It can be reopened if needed.

The firm gets better with every engagement.

What a team solves well can go back into the template, so the next engagement starts with it.

01

Save as template

A well run engagement file is saved as your own template, ready for the next engagement of the same type.

02

Send to the firm

Your own template can be sent to the firm, and an admin decides whether to publish it for the whole team.

03

The Agent proposes

From inside the file, the Agent can update the template it came from or propose changes, when you ask.

04

Every version kept

Every change to a template leaves a frozen version in its history.

Frequently asked questions about engagement files.

What is an engagement file?

The workspace of one engagement: its documents, its workpapers, its report and its instructions, with its own members. It starts from one of the firm's templates or blank.

What is a template?

Your firm's model engagement file for a type of engagement: folders, workbooks, Word report models, reference documents and instructions. There are the firm's templates and each member's own.

Who can see an engagement file?

The whole space sees that it exists; only its members and the firm's admins see what is inside. Anyone else can request access.

Who maintains the firm's templates?

Its admins. Each member can create their own and send them to the firm, and an admin decides whether to publish them. Every change leaves a version in the history.

What does the Agent do with a template?

It works on the file's copy: it fills your workbooks in place, writes the report on your Word model and cites every figure with its source page. If you ask, it takes what it learned back into the template.

Where are my documents processed?

In the European Union. G2-F is hosted on AWS in Frankfurt (eu-central-1), processing stays in the EU, and your documents are never used to train or fine tune any model.

Let the Agent carrythe heavy work.
